Anshan, Aug. 14 -- SUPCON President Cui Shan and his delegation visited HT’s design and development center in Anshan to discuss digital HT and smart coking initiatives. HT President Xu Lie spoke with Cui about the latest cooperation updates, practical applications of the technologies, and industry challenges. The two sides agreed to drive a smarter upgrade of the traditional coking sector by setting short-term targets and long-term benchmarks.                                             

Discussions on smart coking are under way

HT, a leading player in the coking sector, has technical innovation imprinted in its DNA. Founded in 2011 in Beijing, the company now encompasses 14 departments, 16 disciplines, and 485 patents, serving clients in China, Southeast Asia, and Africa. As a high-tech leader, HT’s slogan is “Always pursuing leadership.” In the global push toward digitalization, President Xu Lie oversees digital transformation from a strategic viewpoint. General Manager Han leverages his extensive experience in the Chinese market. HT has moved steadily from engineering construction to smart operation.

SUPCON, a national enterprise with 30 years in industrial automation, is accelerating toward global leadership. It has invested hundreds of millions of yuan to establish Zhongkong Shuke Digital Technology Company and has required 80 percent of its core products to undergo AI-native reconstruction. The company developed disruptive DCS technology and is set to launch the world’s first AI-powered smart factory, breaking down technical barriers with resolute determination. Cui said, “Those left behind in the AI race will be eliminated by the era.”

This meeting is more than a routine business cooperation; it represents an integration of technology and industry. The two sides have agreed that, first, six mini-projects will be implemented to address HT’s internal management challenges by rapidly applying digital transformation results to boost business operations. Second, the companies will focus on the coking industry’s core design stage and collaborate to advance smart design by removing technical barriers between them. If successful, the working models of traditional engineering-design institutes could be disrupted.

We aim to become a top international engineering company through digital transformation, Mr. Xu said with resolve. By merging HT’s deep technical data with SUPCON’s leading AI large model, the partnership between the two practical and advanced companies is expected to become a benchmark for digital transformation in the coking industry.

Concluding the discussions, an unveiling ceremony was held to mark the formal launch of this comprehensive collaboration. As the red cloth was lifted, the nameplate for the HT–SUPCON Smart Coking Institute was revealed, signaling a pragmatic, professional, and strategic new phase in the two companies’ collaboration on digital and intelligent solutions for the coking industry.
