On April 18, 2026, Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. successfully held its Second AI Innovation Skills Competition simultaneously at venues in Anshan and Beijing. Guided by the vision of “Making AI accessible and efficiency ubiquitous,” the competition aimed to inspire innovation across the entire workforce, promote the deep integration of AI technology with business practices, and continue to drive the company’s digital transformation.

Full Participation, Abundant Results

The competition officially kicked off on February 10, 2026, and ran for over two months. It spanned 21 departments and attracted enthusiastic participation from more than 120 employees, resulting in a total of 45 innovative entries. The submissions covered all functional departments and disciplines within the company, showcasing the strong technical expertise and vibrant innovative spirit of Huatai people. Following a rigorous evaluation and selection process, 15 teams successfully advanced to the finals.

At the opening of the competition, General Manager Han Dong delivered a speech, stating that hosting the AI Innovation Skills Competition not only built upon and enhanced the achievements of the first event but also served as a key initiative for the company to position itself for the intelligent era and deepen its digital transformation. The AI wave has already arrived, and only by proactively embracing it can we remain competitive. The company will continue to deepen collaboration among industry, academia, and research institutions to comprehensively enhance employees’ practical digital capabilities. Competing Side by Side, Highlights Abound

At the finals, participating teams showcased the practical applications of AI technology in scenarios such as engineering design, engineering management, and administrative management, focusing on three core criteria - “business relevance, innovation, and scalability.” Ultimately, the Coal and Coke Department team claimed the top prize with their project “Automated Selection for Conventional CDQ Units”. Centered on parameter-driven design and deeply integrating AI-assisted technologies, their project achieves a fully closed-loop process encompassing intelligent furnace selection, automatic verification of critical flow rates, precise material calculations, and one-click text output, providing an efficient and reliable intelligent solution for advanced-stage design. Recognizing Achievements and Charting a New Course

As the competition drew to a close, Chairman Xu Lie spoke highly of its achievements and expressed his earnest expectations. He noted that the competition had successfully ignited enthusiasm for the company’s digital transformation and greatly boosted confidence in its intelligent development. He urged all departments to use the competition as an opportunity to learn from one another, proceed step by step, continuously refine innovative outcomes, and drive the application of technologies. The company will coordinate platform integration and collaborative development to launch the Huatai + AI 1.0 version on the second anniversary of the digital transformation initiative. At the same time, the company will comprehensively upgrade its reward mechanisms, increase investment in incentives, and ensure that internal incentive spending is no less than external expenditures.
