The No. 2 CDQ unit with a designed capacity of 160 t/h at the Bayuquan Coking Department of Angang Steel Co., Ltd. has been in operation for 10 years. The CDQ proper and related equipment have exceeded their service life and exhibit significant defects, which directly compromise safety and production. This project involves the demolition of the existing CDQ proper, its reconstruction according to the newly designed structure, and the replacement of all heat exchangers within the CDQ boiler.

This project marks the first contract signed between Huatai and Angang Steel Group. Under the leadership of the company, the project team will spare no effort to overcome challenges such as the tight construction schedule and winter construction conditions. While prioritizing safety and quality, we will ensure the project is completed on time and achieve a 100% dry quenching rate upon resumption of production.
