On the morning of April 13, 2021, a delegation from Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Ma Steel), including Deputy General Manager Fu Ming, Director of the Technical Renovation Department Cheng Ding, General Manager of the Coking Plant Wang Kaibao, Manager of the Technical Renovation Department Huang Yuanshun, and Vice Director of the Design and Research Institute Zhu Xinghua, visited Huatai Yongchuang for inspection and research. They were received by company executives including General Manager Han Dong, Deputy General Managers Dong Xinghong, Shao Feng, and Song Mingjiang, Director of Scientific Research Xue Gaifeng, and Marketing Director Wang Na.

At the meeting, General Manager Han Dong first extended a warm welcome to the visiting leaders from Ma Steel and expressed gratitude for Ma Steel’s strong support for and deep trust in Huatai Yongchuang. He briefly outlined the company’s development over the past decade, noting that it had now assembled a highly efficient and professional team serving both domestic and international markets, which had earned unanimous recognition within the industry. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the company achieved record highs in corporate scale, market share, contract value, and operating revenue. He also stressed the company’s research and development efforts. Deputy General Manager Song Mingjiang provided an update on the construction progress of the 2×130 t/h coke dry quenching project in Ma Steel’s New District and the 2×140 t/h coke dry quenching project in its South District.

Deputy General Manager Fu Ming of Ma Steel provided an overview of Ma Steel’s operational performance and development goals over the past two years. He stated that he was deeply impressed and encouraged by Huatai’s rapid development and expressed great satisfaction with the 2×130 t/h CDQ project currently under construction. He also expressed hope that both parties would explore cooperation in the field of intelligent manufacturing. Ma Steel’s leadership showed keen interest in the heat-exchange two-stage coke oven and discussed the possibility of replacing existing coke ovens with this technology.
