On July 14, 2020, at the invitation of Tiexiong Xinsha Energy, a subsidiary of Zhongrong Xinda Group, Huatai Chairman Xu Lie and his delegation visited Tiexiong Xinsha Energy Co., Ltd and held discussions with leaders from Zhongrong Xinda Group and Tiexiong Xinsha Energy regarding smart production and the construction and operation of coke dry quenching systems.

Leaders attending the exchange meeting included Wang Qingtao, Chairman of Zhongrong Xinda Group; Zhang Yigui, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Zhongrong Xinda Group and Chairman of Tiexiong Xinsha Energy; Pang Fengjian, President of Tiexiong Xinsha Energy; and Zhang Qingliang, General Manager of Tiexiong Xinsha Energy.

Chairman Xu Lie introduced Huatai Company’s current major research and development projects, with a particular focus on the construction of the smart CDQ section. Chairman Wang Qingtao offered suggestions regarding the expansion of the smart CDQ section to encompass the development of intelligent coking as a whole, and highlighted the challenges that need to be addressed in coal blending and the intelligent operation of coke oven machinery.

Participants engaged in an in-depth discussion regarding the operational status of the two 190 t/h CDQ units already in operation at Tiexiong Xinsha, as well as the construction progress of the 190 t/h CDQ unit currently under construction at Tiexiong Metallurgical Technology. They also explored the development of the coking industry amid the pandemic. The in-depth technical exchange provided both parties with new insights and opened up new opportunities for cooperation and development.
